Opposite the museum of Science & Industry. Was a good pub 10 years ago when I visited and two recent visits resulted in many pints of Deuchers IPA being consumed, best pint I have ever drunk in Manchester. Nectar! Friendly & efficient staff too!

Used to go when I was younger and had good memories of comedy tent and the usual stuff you get in castlefield. Went in a few weeks ago and am still having nightmares about the pint of ale we had. Truly a horrifying experience. Definitely geared towards young families and scally wags! Honeslty though, it tasted like something had died in the pipes.

Found this place by chance and stayed for 5 hours. Good food, good beer. Made to feel very welcome. That was a couple of years ago. I hope it hasn't changed.
